Nimue Malory
Oh she was a rare thing, fine as a bee's wing
So fine a breath of wind might blow her away
She was a lost child, oh she was running wild
She said "As long as there's no price on love, I'll stay
And you wouldn't want me any other way"

the Face
Nimue has an oval shaped face and a square chin, though it is more rounded and less masculine looking. Her nose is slightly upturned and straight. Her eyes are oval shaped and grey with eyebrows that have slightly high arch. Her skin tone is pale. She has no visible blemishes on her face or neck. Her lips are semi-full and her smile would be considered one of her best features. When she smiles, her whole face brightens up. It gives her a charming look.
the Hair
Nimue has long, dark brown, semi-wavey hair. It can be hard to tame sometimes during the summer heat, but generally she wears it down in a mass of waves. For bed she would braid it into one simple cord down her back. Her hair is her second best feature as it is long with a healthy glossy sheen.
the Body
Nimue's neck is long and slender, coming down to broad shoulders. She is slim and curvaceous, standing a little bit taller than average height. One may not call her extremely well endowed, but she has an athletic body with a tiny waist. Her skin is pale and soft.personality
Nimue is a difficult person to understand. Some people had worshiped her as a goddess, while others had cursed her name. She is neither good, nor evil, yet at the same time she is both.
Born in a savage age, gods and goddesses were as fickle and emotional as humans. There was no moral code other than, do not cross a god and a god will not cross you.
As a young girl, Nimue was fiercely proud. If a man watched her bathe, she would kill him without a second thought. She was the best huntress and would kill a person for saying otherwise. She at first refused to take lovers, scorning men, but as she matured, she slowly became more affectionate and more female.
One thing Nimue could never change was that she was always unable to forgive. When Lancelot refused to take her as a lover after she had raised him to manhood, she cursed him to marry a woman he could never love while loving a woman he could never marry. When Arthur turned to Christianity, slowly abandoning the old way, she orchestrated his death by his son's own hand. Her jealousy and pride refused to let her see what that had done to her and her kind. They were slowly forgotten.
Nimue always does what is best for herself. By giving the sword, Excalibur, to Arthur, she was insuring her power. Her greatest fear is to be forgotten and become useless to mankind. She has inspired greatness in men, but she has also brought sorrow.family & history
Others: Lovers: Merlin, Faunus, Felix
It is not known how Nimue came to be. Though her memory is quite good, her early years are fuzzy. She had been referred to as many things, but one of the more well-known names was Diana, goddess of the Hunt. As Diana was was a wild things, running through the forest with the deer. One story tells that when a man saw her bathing naked in forest, she turned him into a stag and set his own dogs on him, mauling him to death.
Another story was that she killed her lover, Faunus, by trapping him under a rock and pouring hot lead on him so that she could have Felix, a knight she met while hunting. Felix was so appalled by her act that he chopped her head off and threw her body into the lake. Losing her form, she spent many years in the lake until she reemerged and was called the Lady of the Lake by her new worshipers, the priestesses of Avalon.
Nimue was then considered good and kind by the priestesses. Occasionally she would take mortal form and become the head priestess, foretelling the future of a great King and then the downfall of Avalon.
Finally, Nimue heard of a great wizard named Merlin who had powers that rivaled the gods. Curious, Nimue appeared to him first as a young girl of fifteen. Soon her jealousy and thirst for power overcame her and she continued to visit him, begging him to teach her. Merlin refused at first, but when he came to desire her, he struck a deal. Only after he had taught Nimue all his secrets would she become his lover.
Of course Nimue tricked him and once she knew all she needed to know, she stole his memories and his powers and sent him living to his grave. (During that time she had raised Lancelot as a young boy and gave Arthur Excalibur.)
After the death of Merlin, the old ways quickly were lost and Nimue receded back to her lake where she stayed for many year, occasionally appearing to meddle in mortal history. But recently she has come back and taken human form of a young woman. With her gift of seeing amplified by Merlin's powers, Nimue can tell that something is afoot and she would want to be apart of it. Perhaps it is her opportunity to be remembered again.
She took the last name Malory as a nod to the famous literature "Le Morte d'Arthur."the roleplayer
